How We Got Started
Small Town RC Promotions and Mad Beard RC are groups of friends that met doing RC demo derbies at the local hobby shop. While it was great fun, we found ourselves growing beyond what we had here locally. We got together with people from all over the Midwest and realized that the RC world is huge and so much fun. Our objective is to bring RC car knowledge closer to home and offer the opportunity to others to have the same kind of fun and experience. Each person in our group has a different love, passion, and specialty for the sport, whether it be derbies vs. racing, or nitro vs. electric, but it all boils down to one thing... RC Car Fun!
MBRC
Because life and growth happens, Mad Beard RC expanded the group even bigger with focuses primarily on building bodies and cars for RC Demo Derbies and sharing the love of crawling and trail riding. Paul and Amanda took the love of RC a little further and help grow into who we are as a group today.
The Big Picture
Mad Beard RC, in conjunction with Small Town RC Promotions, specializes in holding demolition derby events based on the needs in the area. Whether it be a charity event or a monthly gig at a hobby shop, MBRC and STRC Promotions are there to cover all the bases.
